x > -2/3

or you can do it this way...
-5x + 2 > -8x (add 5x to both sides)
-5x + 5x + 2 > -8x + 5x
combine like terms
2 > -3x (divide by -3, but remember, dividing/multiplying by a negative changes the inequality sign)
2/-3 < -3x/-3
-2/3 < x
