how do i do this.....use the projectile motion equation h(t)=-16t^2+vot+ho, where h(t) is the height of the object (in feet) at time t (seconds) after it is thrown, vo is the initial vertical velocity of the object and ho is the initial height of object??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can plug everything in and solve for t by using the quadratic equation. Do you have the initial velocity and h0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it asking for time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it tells me to throw n object n measure the height off the ground n that will be ho and yes it does it also say make graphs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup it should be solve for t then if you have everything else, by using the quadratic formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the problem is im in adv. alg n trig n can u just start me off n guide me through

OpenStudy (loser66):

hey, what does "...im adv.alg n trig n ...".mean?
