A belt PQRSTU passes round two wheels, which turn when the belt moves.
The larger wheel has radius 30 cm and centre A. The smaller wheel has radius 10 cm and centre B.
Angle TAP = 130°.
(a) Explain why the angles at P, Q, S and T are all 90°. [1]
(b) Find the size of angles PUT, QBS and QRS. [4]
(c) The smaller wheel makes 12 revolutions in a clockwise direction. How many revolutions does the
larger wheel make and in which direction?

Accept QBS = 230o
