2. to find the slope we will use the slope formula :
slope(m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
(3,-4) x1 = 3 and y1 = -4
(-2,1) x2 = -2 and y2 = 1
now lets sub our info into the formula
m = (1 - (-4) / (-2 - 3)
m = (1 + 4) / -5
m = 5/-5
m = -1 <-- your slope

3. slope intercept form : y = mx + b
-5x + 2y = 12 (add 5x to both sides)
2y = 5x + 12 (now divide by 2)
y = 5/2x + 6 <-- slope intercept form

-3y = -10 - 8
