Tell whether the given equation has ordered pair as a solution.

y=1-x; (2,1)
y=6x; (3,16)
y=-4x; (-2,8)
and y=x-(3/4); (2,1(1/4))
I don't want just the answer I would like to know how to work through the problems :)

plug the (x, y) values in to the equation then solve and see if they are equal to one another
