If you wear contact lenses, why should you remove them while you are in the laboratory?

Due to the fume of chemicals that you may come in contact with might get into the back of the contacts, which can definitely harm your eyes. Also, if you we're to get chemicals or anything into your eyes, the removing of the contacts will take too much time, and will only damage your eyes more. So it's always better just to stick with glasses, when you are doing a lab.
