If we decrease the time it takes for a car to travel over the same distance, this will increase the speed. have no effect on velocity or speed. decrease the speed. decrease the velocity.

Dis/Time = Speed Dis/T1 > Dis/T2 if T2 > T1 so yes the AVERAGE speed should increase Velocity takes into account the displacement (velocity vector has a direction and magnitude) and not the total distance, so it looks like velocity should also increase... but that doesn't seem to be an option. Am I missing something here (i.e. not enough information)?
