Creating a number line and plotting the numbers on it will help immensely. You can try that and check my answers: 1.(C) 2.(D)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

# 1 -10> -2 is false because -10 is smaller than -2 -6=6 is false because the two aren't the same number -7<-1 is true because -7 is indeed smaller than -1 0<-9 is false because 0 is NOT smaller than -9 (zero is actually greater than -9)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

# 2 the numbers 4 and 3 are to the right of -3, so they are larger than -3 (construct a number line to help see this) the number -3 is not less than -3 so we've eliminated A, B, C so far leaving D to be the only thing left -4 is the answer since it is to the left of -3, so -4 is smaller than -3
