what can i do for nucleus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What does your question mean? Do you mean to ask what the nucleus is composed of? --Neutrons and Proton

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no in a cell model

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! So a nucleus is a cellular organelle of eukaryotes. It has a DOUBLE phospholipid membrane and contains the genetic material of the cell: DNA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can not be edible

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm, I'm a little confused as to the scope of the question. So you want to figure out what the nucleus does in a cell?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that is what it is im doing a cell el and not know what to use

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i need a object to fit into the plant cell model

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The genetic material is compartmentalized in chromosomes, and the functional units of chromosomes that make proteins are called genes. The nucleus also houses the Nucleoli, which are important for rRNA creation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh so you're doing a class project and you're trying to make a neucleus fit into a plant cell model?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you asking what materials to use?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but i need an object tht will act as it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kind of like a similar design of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not functionally I hope :) but something that might look like a nucleus could be a small (ideally blue/purple) rubber ball

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Most of the membrane bound organelles in the cell will look similar (they aren't colored in a real cell) and are made of different colors to differentiate them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k thinks neuronerd ill do that thinks for the help :) :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they will differ in size and the nucleus is the biggest! Sorry I couldnt be any more helpful, good luck!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thinks and u were helpful

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) appreciate it! Make that science work!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)
