summations...i get them but what do i do with these? a quick explanation is sufficient enough, i just wasn't sure how i solve it. So far i've split them up to 3 summations, do i use the formulas to simply them?

OpenStudy (math2400):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you familiar with limit comparison test for summations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or ratio test , or root test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you may want to use the ration test for the first two

OpenStudy (math2400):

i get how to do the limit part but how do i get the sum of it? and what is the ratio/root test? I've never heard of it

OpenStudy (math2400):

the answer for the first part is: (3/2n) + (1/6n^2) + (4/3) any idea how that's the answer?
