Anyone have any need-to-know operators for MatLab? I just started using it in order to know how to do voltage-resting potential simulations for neurons. I'm sort of clueless, but eager to learn!

np.  Yah, the nice thing is that more of the math software companies are putting out free info on how to use the product.  used to be you had to buy a book or take a class.  They still have those, but they give away more for free than they used to.
