What is the best way to study when you have a English exam
What kind of english exam? Like vocabulary, on a book, grammer, etc.?
Grammer
Vocabulary: I usually make flashcards, and just study from those Book: i read it, look at summaries online (sparknotes are really good :)) and take quizzes onine. Shakespear: I go onto "No Fear Shakespeare" http://nfs.sparknotes.com/juliuscaesar/page_48.html This is the one i'm looking at for Julius Caesar. On the left is the original text, and on the right is a modern english translation which makes things a lot easier to understand :D and then you can also look at the sparknotes summaries, quizzes, and character analysis. Another good site is cliff notes as well :) http://www.cliffsnotes.com/ Grammer: Just practice a lot with practice quizzes online. The more practice the better :) Here's some sites: http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/quiz_list.htm http://www.chompchomp.com/exercises.htm and if you just google "grammar practice" a lot of websites will come up :) hope this helps!
Well, I normally don't review for English but if I am unsure, I always review the rules and look at a few examples and make one myself.
Take notes and review them.
