question how can i memorize the 12 principles of animation using a mnemonic device?

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Draw a picture that represents them. Turn them into a story. Make a sentence where each word starts with a letter that reminds you of one of the 12 points OR where each word somehow relates to one of the 12 points. Personally I like the Oliver Footnotes method. Small pictures that are sequential and capture it. I have made cartoons that way, with not much better than stick figures, and memorized part of Plato's works that way. |dw:1380031939717:dw| When you do a better than stick figure, you can write or draw keys on the body, add emotion to the face, and so on. These can help make a story cartoon that relates to the topic. Funny helps too. So a guy wearing a sock for a tie become Socrates, etc. If you make a story that encompasses your 12 points and then draw it with all of that quality in a chain of cartoon boxes, your chances of remembering that will shoot up dramatically. Then self test to turn it into useable information.
