Two blocks are attached to a common vertical spring having spring constant "K" N/m. Both the blocks lie in a vertical plane.the block A of mass "M" is maintained at rest on the table and the block B having mass "2M" is allowed to rest on spring. What would you suppose to expect if the further external compression of the upper block from its natural equilibrium position is made bigger by and by? Does the two blocks follow the mechanism of linear harmonic oscillator in this case as well. Somebody help..
