Evaluate the following expression using the values given: Find 3x - y - 3z if x = -2, y = 1, and z = -2. -13 -1 1 13

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

just plug in the variables given for the equation @RltFalloutPlease

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Plug in the given values: 3x - y - 3z = 3(-2) - (1) - 3(-2) = ??? What do you get?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

if you want to find 3x-y-3z plug everything in and solve, as @DebbieG said; ^ ^ ^ -2 1 -2 Just a little visual up there of where exactly you would plug in stuff, but from here, it should be fairly easy to solve because there are no variables here

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

is this making sense to you @RltFalloutPlease ? plz say something lol!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be -1?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

well if you have -6-1+6, you would get -1 :) its correct

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Do you have a better understanding on how to do this problem? @RltFalloutPlease ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I appreciate very much :)

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

alright then :)
