Percentage Error of water (density, mass, volume, and slope)? We did testing on water and I don't know how to do percentage error! Water Volume in mL: 5 10 15 20 25 Water Mass in g: 4.52 8.28 14.28 19.26 24.7 Mass Volume Ratio was .940. I'm not sure how to do the slope. I don't know how to take the percentage error! How do I find the Accepted Value and the Experimental Value? Please and thank you to all who help!

OpenStudy (azureilai):

Percentage error is\[\frac{ (experimental Value - acceptedValue) }{ accepted Value }\times100\] You will have to search up the accepted value, and calculate the experimental value.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

the slope is your mass/volume ratio when you plot mass vertically and volume horizontally. Your experimental answer is the slope of the line that your data creates.
