Table sugar is not a mineral because: it is made of more than one element. it is not made by a geologic process. Its chemical composition is always changing. it is in crystal form.

the table sugar is a processed sugar...not formed naturally. i think it should be not made by geological process. we cannot distinguish table sugar whether it is mineral or not based on its crystal structure.
