imagine 10^4 as variable N, then your q looks like: 2.7N + 5.6N. simple we can solve, 8.3N where N is 10^4. so 8.3 x 10^4. but remember in the problem like this , you have to give answer in the scientific form, that the number 8.3 is between 1 and 10 and in the 3 significant figures. :)

yes, not all teacher teach that the 8.3 must in the 3 significant figures, but if the teacher wants it in 3 sf, you must write 8.30
