Animal-like protists are heterotrophic organisms. They are classified by how they move. Plant-like protists are photoautotrophs, which means they contain chlorophyll and carry out photosynthesis. Plant-like protists are autotrophs while animal-like protists are heterotrophs. Plant-like protists have cells walls while animal-like protists don't.
