Quick question!! Suppose you are driving back home from a friend's house. The number of miles you are from home depends on the number of minutes you have been driving. Suppose you are 15 miles from home when you have been driving for 10 minutes, 12 miles from home after driving for 15 minutes, and 6 miles from home after driving for 30 minutes Is Minutes the y value in this?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I think so because the miles would be the x since it will the miles that you are traveling. So depending on the number of miles, the number of minutes it will take. So I think that the minutes is y.

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

Oh ok thanks!!!!1
