HELP! very appreciated.

thomaster (thomaster):

water will go in the cell to equalize the salt concentration on both sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you, could you help me with one more?

thomaster (thomaster):

sure, make sure to post it in a new question when the question topic is different from the previous.

thomaster (thomaster):

That is what we call isotonic. the concentration is the same on both sides so water will not move at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you, I appreciate your help. How would I figure out what the water will do? I do not understand how I find out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have a few more of those to do, but want to do some on my own

thomaster (thomaster):

the water will go from low to high concentration in osmosis. So when the concentration outside the semi-permeable membrane is higher than the concentration inside, the water will go out.

Awesome! Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
