A car's rear windshield wiper rotates 125 degrees. The total length of the wiper mechanism is 25 inches and wipes the windshield over a distance of 14 inches. Find the area covered by the wiper.

Well first we know that we have to subtract the Area of the wiper mechanism and the Area of wipers on the windshield. Also, the area of a circle is pi*r^2 The problem is the wiper doesn't go 360 degrees so what you can do is when multiplying you would do (125/360)*pi*r^2 because it only rotates to 125 degrees not 360. Now based on the information I provided, can you figure out the area covered by the wiper?
