hey laura, what is the niche of the clownfish
It lives amongst the tentacles of a stinging sea anenome and is immune from it's stinging cells
did that help?
noly, i am in school and my teacher said the nich is the "job" of the clownfish, i meant to put job
oh ok
do you know what the clownfishes "job" is?
Clown fish have two purposes in life. One is to survive and procreate. The other is to help a certain species of Sea Anemone to survive by living in a symbiotic relationship with it.
does this help? lol ;)
yes it does but please stand by, i may have more questions for you
Okay i'll be here
just a sec, i have to figure out what else my teacher wants in this papaer
ok take your time
oops sorry paper, not what i typed before
lol i figured ;)
here is my next question, where does it live and what does it eat
There are 28 known species of clownfish, most of which live in the shallow waters of the Indian Ocean, the Red Sea, and the western Pacific. They are not found in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, or Atlantic Ocean. Clownfish are omnivorous, in the wild they eat live food such as algae, plankton, molluscs, and crustacea.
any more questions?
