what would 5.75 > d look like on a number line ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5.75 could also be 5 and 3/4 so draw your line and label point at 5.75 which is b/w 5 and 6 (closer to 6) since the sign does not include = then draw a circle (do not shade it in) I like to think of 0 is 0 greater than or less than 5.75? if greater than the line will NOT include 0 if less than the line will include 0

Ok so how would that look ? I'm not sure how I would write the numbers -------------------- -5.75 -4.75 ect ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is fine...but you are looking for +5.75 correct?
