Find the coordinates of the midpoint between point A(-5, -9) and the origin. Find the midpoint of line segment TS. t= (-5, 3) & s=(3, -9) A. (-1, -3) B. (-2, -6) C. (-4, 6) D. (11, -21)

OpenStudy (austinl):

\(\text{Midpoint}=(\dfrac{x_1+x_2}{2},\dfrac{y_1+y_2}{2})\) You have the two points, (-5, -9) and (0, 0)

OpenStudy (phi):

if you want the middle point, add the two x values and divide by 2 add the two y values and divide by 2 the x value is the first number in (x,y) pair y is the 2nd number. can you do that ?
