The question below refers to the selection "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe. Which of the following statements BEST sums up Montresor's attitude toward revenge? Write the statement in the box below and explain your answer. Revenge is not worth the risks Montresor must take. Revenge begins when a person threatens someone's life. A person should tolerate verbal abuse until it becomes physical abuse. Montresor will have his revenge if he is not caught and punished for it.
