OpenStudy (anonymous):

@JuanitaM ...do you understand this question ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4 quarters is 100 cents

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you have the values mixed up 4 quarters = 100 cents that is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x dimes is .10x cents

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

but if you have x dimes, then you have 10x cents not 0.10x cents

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it should be 0.10x dollars but then you'd have to convert the 100 cents to 1 dollar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

as said, add up 100 + .10x will tell you the total of cents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is 100 + 10x ?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it's not .10x it's 10x

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes 100+10x cents or 1 + 0.10x dollars

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand now...I feel stupid

OpenStudy (anonymous):
