A scientist has found new data confirming the plate tectonics theory. How will this most likely help the body of knowledge in science? The previous theory will be rejected. The data will help to generate consensus. The theory of plate tectonics will no longer need to be proved. The new data will allow scientists to turn the theory into a law.
