Which of the following best represents the average rate at which a person can quickly walk? a.3 steps per hours b.3 steps per second c. 30 steps per minute d.30 steps per second

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well 3 steps an hour seems extremely slow, 3 steps a second is a very fast pace, almost to sprinting, 30 steps a second is (I would say impossible), but as for c: 30 steps a minute, that's 1 step every 2 seconds, which seems most reasonable.

are you sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Quickly walking could also be the 3 steps a second, just try walking 3 steps a second and making that judgement. 3 steps an hour is slow, 3 steps a second is quickly walking, 30 steps a minute is 1 step every 2 seconds, and 30 steps per second is just too quick for me to walk, try timing yourself walking around and see what you find.

30 steps a minute sounds seem logical
