This  was as close as I could get. I hope it makes things a little more clear for you.

Creative nonfiction tells the truth, but with more of the literary elements than just plain nonfiction does. I.e., it will use metaphors, similes, etc. to convey the truth. Memoirs are creative nonfiction, because they tell the truth (we hope), but do so in a manner that is more enjoyable that just the morning newspaper.

Fiction also uses these same elements, but to tell something that is not true, usually a fictional story.
