i think it's a complex sentence because complex sentences requires an independent clause and at least one dependent clause and in that sentence.. "Tom and Jerry have a big argument every morning.." is the independent clause and "over what they should do with their day.." is the dependent clause..
well, that's my opinion.. ^_^
