a praying mantis catches and eats a moth. which of the following terms sets describes the praying mantis
What terms
a.omnivore,heterotroph,producer b.producer,carnivore,autotroph c.predator,herbivore,heterotroph d.consumer,carnivore,predator
B.
isn't D though? because the praying mantis can't be an autotroph because an autotroph and a producer make their own food and herbivores only eat plants, so the answer must be D. Consumer, carnivore, predator.
Nope a matis is an autotroph.
Well look it up on line promise you i looked it up and read about it and it said it was.
A mantis doesn't make its own food. A mantis obtains its own food, which means its a consumer.
Thanks @Ryaan
it is d....it is a consumer bcuz it hasnt produced its own food and has used other animal as carbon source. carnivore because he is not havin plants but organism.
Ok then im wrong ill believe @shrutipande9
thank u...to clear ur concepts @jlg030597 producer is d own which produces its own food...and autotrophs is also pretty much d same...eg is plants...
@jlg030597 never just assume that u r wrong bcuz u r sayin something against d population...know d reason why it is wrong..:)
