Question about quadractics and graphs (no equation) medal rewarded
I'm studying for a call and my teacher says the key points I should go over are (his words): "solving quadractics and what do the graphs do" What exactly does he mean by "what do the graphs do"?
I know HOW to solve quadratic graphs and how to read them but... what do they do? what're they there for?
@dmezzullo halp.
I would retriceume you use the graphs to plot the stufff?
assume** sorry
I thought there'd be something more complex to it...
give a question i will show u
Give a question? My question is posted @08surya Unless you mean an equation. I don't know why you want one....
Um I think your teacher meant relating the graph to the equation. Solving quadratic equations gives you roots, which sometimes you'd get No Real Roots, or Two Real Roots, or One Real Root Given \(ax^2+bx+c=0\), using b^2-4ac |dw:1380216159086:dw| |dw:1380216208509:dw| |dw:1380216228972:dw| No Real Roots, b^2-4ac<0 Two Real Roots, b^2-4ac>0 One Real Root, b^2-4ac=0
