Plug 2 in for x for each answer, and see which one works. Can you test A to see if that works?

Plug x=2 into each one, and see where you get a true equality statement. Or better yet, SOLVE each equation and see for which one you get the solution x=2

Looks right to me! :) good job. I would always check all 4 equations, just in case you made a mistake - it's a good double-check. But I agree, C is the correct answer. :)
