When the coordinates (1,1) (4,4) (7,1 and (4,-2) are joined which shape is formed ? A) parallelogram B) rectangle C)rhombus D) square

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Plot the points and connect them. If you find parallel lines (two pairs) you have a parallelogram...recall parallel lines have the same slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's just a hint I haven't worked it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mashe do you know a website where I can plot online

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@asheyisakitty so it's a square?? or is it a parallelogram ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ashleyisakitty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if product of slopes of adjacent sides=-1 then they are perpendicular.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

.... D.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if AC=BD Then square or rectangle. if product of slopes of AC & BD=-1, Then it is a square.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be rhombus also. for square all the four sides are equal and diagonals are also equal.
