OpenStudy (phi):

the first graph shows that (0.36,0.22) is where x^(3/2) crosses the line y= 27/125 or y= 0.22 roughly. that means x^(3/2) = 0.22 and x is 0.36 x≤ 0.36 is the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the third one x > 2 ?

@phi

\[x \le 2 \]

OpenStudy (phi):

if the equation is -x^3 -12x^2 -6x -8≥0 then the graph on the left side does not match the equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then what is the solution? :0

OpenStudy (phi):

if we look at the graph, it is above the x-axis when x≤ -2 so that would be the answer.... but not to the equations shown on the right side. I would ask your teacher about this one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x < or equal to -2 is correct?

OpenStudy (phi):

x≤2 is where the graph is positive. But if they give you the wrong equation, it is hard to say what they are asking. I would ask your teacher.
