3x-5=9;x=-1,0,1

I'm not sure what you're asking in this question. The X values do not make that equation true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It says. Solve each equation for y. Then find the value of y for each value of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe we can move everything to the left side. This will give us 3X -5-9 =y For x=-1, 3(-1)-5-9=-17. y=-17 I'm not sure if that is what is being asked or not.

Sorry I'm not much help.

Haha its alright, this is a tough lesson anyways.
