uhm im in grade 12 I haven't learned any of that =(

OpenStudy (blockcolder):

\[\begin{align}2x^4+7x^3+4x^2-7x-6&=2x^4+7x^3+6x^2-2x^2-7x-6\\ &=x^2(2x^2+7x+6)-(2x^2+7x+6)\\ &=(x^2-1)(2x^2+7x+6) \end{align}\] Hopefully you can factor these last two. =)
