3x+2y-z+3z+5 solution for this algebraic expression

OpenStudy (atlas):

3apples + 2oranges -1banana +3banana +5 What does it give?

sorry i cnt understand it.....

Okay let is try this: +3x (Variable X) +2y (Variable Y) -z (Variable Z) +3z (Variable Z) +5 (Constant) Combine the like terms. Meaning Variable Z + Variable Z and Variable Y + Variable Y and finally Variable X + Variable X. \[3x+2y-z+3z+5\] \[3x+2y(-z+3z)+5\] Let use combine the like terms inside the soft bracket: \[-z+3z = 2z\] After combining like terms we got \(2z\), replace what was in the soft brackets with the combined term. \[3x+2y+2z+5\] Since we cannot combine anything else that is your solution. @simple_gurl93 Please tell me if you need any other help, I would be happy to give you another explanation.
