Mathematics 6 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

4-t=3(t-1)-5 A.3 B.6 C.No Solution D.Identify WILL GIVE MEDAL FOR CORRECT ANSWER!!!!

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Did you try to solve for t and see what you get? That is the first step.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

If you get a solution for t, then that's the solution (should be either 3, or 6). If you get something where the variable terms "go away", then you have either an identity, or no solution. --- if the variables go away and you are left with a FALSE equality (like, 0=7 for example) then there is no solution. --- if the variables go away and you are left with a TRUE equality (like, 0=0 for example) then it is an identity.
