Julio checked the temperature of a bag of frozen peas and found it was at −12°C. After he left the bag out of the freezer for an hour, its temperature rose to 7°C. What was the change in temperature in an hour?

the initial temp was -12 C
finale temp was 7 C

so the temp change from -12 C ----> to 7 C

temp change = 7 - (-12)
= 19 C
