Just providing another way to approach this is using the wave-speed equation: \[c=\nu\lambda\]The wave moves two wavelengths every second (it says so in the diagram), so:\[c=\frac{2\lambda}{s}\]\[\nu=\frac{c}{\lambda}=\frac{2\lambda \cdot s^{-1}}{\lambda}=2\cdot s^{-1}=2\ Hz\]
