What did John and Abigail Adams think of Thomas Paine’s Common Sense?

John and his wife shared different opinions. John called Common Sense a "crapulous mess" but his wife was for change and an advocate of women's rights in the 18th century. I don't know for sure what she thought of Common Sense, but I'm pretty sure she supported it.
