Y’ = a + bX Given the following, solve for the value of the intercept constant and write out the full regression equation: Mean length of stay = 6.5days; mean score on scale = 33; slope = -0.10 So I know b = -0.10, but how do I find the rest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is x, length of stay or score on scale?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember, the regression line must go through the point \[(\bar{x},\bar{y})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you have a point and the slope so you can solve for the intercept. You just need to know which is x and which is y.
