Is there any openware that allows me to put up assignment questions, and give logins to students in which they can answer it.. something like what EDX is doing (having programmable questions to give different numerical values for each login or something) didn't know where to post this :D.

thomaster (thomaster):

What exactly are you trying to achieve with that? Other students log into your courseplayer to answer question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea.. but these are my offline students.. i just want a site where they can login.. and answer assignment questions.. which will save a lot of my time of correcting each ones assignment.. also givin them different numericals so they cannot blindly copy the answers.. just like what EDx does.. do you know any?!

thomaster (thomaster):

well my school uses a system like that, but it's restricted for subjects which come with a book. Like Campbell Biology comes with a code for masteringbiology. The teacher can create a teacher account and create questions. then the students can answer then for graded homework. Don't know any other public system like this.

Do you have a google account? Try using google drive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i stumbled upon this thing called moodle.org.. i ll check that out.. i think that does what i am asking for!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i looked it up. .. its not gradable and stuff right!?

OpenStudy (kaylala):

actually you can make content in google drive... not just upload for instance (this is one of the result of something that i made in google drive): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1yaeVgtuIBmX1dkExntceMv8q7VxKkS2zPkqDseoU_cE/viewform

or do you have an eLeap account or does your school have one? we take online quizzes through eLeap and our grades are visible there to. plus both the student and teacher logs in to eLeap

@Mashy Try Webwork. This allows you to post any questions (multiple choice/shortanswer) and have your students answer them by a specified date. of course, this forces your students to answer correctly. Moodle I have used before. But I don't think its intended for the kind of software you're seeking. Its mostly for teachers whi post assignments, let them know what to do, reminders, etc. TRY WEBWORK!!! :D it fits your situation im sure!!
