OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

& skills

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why do you ask? Just curious what your perspective is.

OpenStudy (kaylala):

@joemagee career / success?

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Education = LIFE. Without education you are dead. P.S. Education DOES NOT mean Marks + Academics. :)

OpenStudy (kaylala):

@AkashdeepDeb no you dont die without education for instances, those in Africa, who live a life without food and proper clothing and shelter - do not have the luxury to be educated so these people are still alive, aren't they... hence, education is not a matter of life or death

OpenStudy (kaylala):

@AkashdeepDeb right on with your definition of education :) since, education is the process of transmitting knowledge, skills, values and behaviors from 1 generation to another

OpenStudy (08surya):

its depend on u how u use it

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school." - Albert Einstein

OpenStudy (akashdeepdeb):

Albert Einstein says otherwise @kaylala https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc3/1238323_588415664547920_1726293195_n.jpg

OpenStudy (kaylala):

thanks anyway, guys. for all your answers

OpenStudy (kenljw):

Education is not a panacea because you may gain knowledge but your basic biological character may not change. Its the biological character of mankind that need changing and knowledge may or may not change that. This aspect of human character was generally treated with religion but today Philosophy and Natural Philosophy, science, attempt to solve this dilemma. My feelings in doing it this way brings about control which some groups want.
