OpenStudy (katherinesmith):

What is the radius of the following graph?

OpenStudy (katherinesmith):

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

4 units.

OpenStudy (katherinesmith):

my options are 3, 5, 6, 9.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

Ah yes it is 3. Sorry my bad.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

I counted the first point by mistake.

OpenStudy (katherinesmith):

so can you tell me how to figure that out

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

The circle has a diameter of 6 points.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

Do you see that? Half of 6 is 3, which is the radius.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

To find the radius you just count the amount of points in the center line of the circle and halve that number.

OpenStudy (♪chibiterasu):

There are times where it is not equal and you have to do special things, but this is pretty simple ;3
