Science 1) asks questions about why the universe is the way it is, 2) comes up with reasoning to explain it, and 3) performs experiment to observe whether these reasonings are true or not.  Observation is key in two of these parts.  We observe the universe behaving in a certain way and ask questions, and we experiment.
A is incorrect.
B is false, geology and biology are natural sciences
C is true
