Liberal Arts Math Help please! Question: (A intersect C) complement and put in roster form. And we are using the following info: U= {a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i,j,k} A= {a,c,d,f,g,i} C= {a,b,f,i,j}

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

What numbers are in both A and C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No numbers are given...just letters.

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

numbers, letters, same idea. What letters are in both A and C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought I did put the letters in first post...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The problem looks like this: (A n C)'...that n is the intersect symbol.

OpenStudy (ddcamp):

What letters are in both of these lists, that will be the intersect of A and C: {a,c,d,f,g,i} {a,b,f,i,j} The letters in U that are not in the new list would be the complement of (A n C)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay {a,f,i} ....intersect means what they have in common right?
