Hi, I just had a question about using Hardy-Weinberg. So, in a population of 200 daffodils: YY (yellow flowers) 82 Yy (yellow flowers with white streaks) 103 yy (white flowers) 15 Calculate the allele frequencies of Y and y. I understand that I use the equations of: p+q=1 and p^2+2pq+q^2=1 However, I am not sure how to start this out. I appreciate the help! Thank you in advance!

Do u know wat is d hardy weinberg hypothesis?

OpenStudy (zale101):

p2 = frequency of AA (homozygous dominant) 2pq = frequency of Aa (heterozygous) q2 = frequency of aa (homozygous recessive)
